About me
I am a CELTA* qualified English language teacher with a passion for English that I am excited to share with you. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of London.
Originally from Oxford, England, I have over twenty years of experience working in multi-national, multi-cultural environments around the world, including England, Ireland, Australia, the USA, and Switzerland. My love for travel and language has enriched my understanding of different cultures, which I bring into my teaching. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, rooted in patience, empathy, and a tailored approach that respects each student’s unique journey.

My Philosophy
At the heart of my teaching approach is a commitment to personalised and effective learning. As a foreign language learner myself, (I’m currently learning German), I understand the challenges of balancing lessons with a busy life. This experience shapes my philosophy, allowing me to tailor lessons and workloads specifically to your needs.
I believe that students thrive when they receive individual attention. That’s why I keep group sizes small, (2-6 students), allowing me to focus on each learner's progress. I also group students by language proficiency, creating an environment where everyone can advance at a comfortable and challenging pace.
Whether as part of a group or individually, you will learn at the pace and in the style that suits you best, and we’ll move forward from there.
My goal is to provide a space where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their language goals.
As a dedicated professional, I take pride in offering communication services with a personal touch, ensuring every detail is handled with care and I approach each task with precision and a commitment to excellence.
